CPBLS handles cases in a limited number of civil legal areas. To learn more about the types of services we provide and eligibility requirements, please visit our Legal Services page.

Before You Contact Us: If possible, please gather any notices, court papers, or other documents relating to your legal issue. It is very helpful if you can share dates and other information from these documents with our team.

Intake Process: When you contact us, a CPBLS team member will ask you for basic background information. This is required by our funding sources before we can serve you.

If you are eligible for services, and you have a legal problem that we handle, a member of our legal staff will review your application and contact you within 3 business days.

Please Note: We are a nonprofit organization and the cases we can handle are determined by our grant funding and program priorities. Because we have limited funds and staffing, we unfortunately cannot take every case that is presented to us. If we cannot provide you with direct help, we will do our best to connect you with other agencies or individuals who may be able to assist you.
